Is there a way to have the state or government pay off my student loans?

I took out a student loan through Sallie Mae to pay for my cosmetology school. I couldnt apply for FASFA because my dad claimed me on my taxes and he makes too much money. But now Im having trouble paying them back. Is there a way to apply for it to be paid off? do I have any options?
