Serious question, what/who is God?

Don't give me a answer like the god in the bible. When people say god do they mean god could be anything ranging from a invisible unicorn to flying magical teapots in space? I mean can you prove that teapot didn't create the entire universe and your mind isnt complex enough to understand?
