Hydraulics Engineers: Question about physical model tests?

I am working with a physical model (prototype) of a river to determine method/s to reduce bridge scour. I know that prototype sediments cannot be scaled using the geometric scale for the model. Considering the fact that dimensionless parameters (reynolds number, froude number and euler number) are made the same for the problem being yzed and the model/prototype, would those values obtained from the sediments in the prototype be acceptable? Are there any technical paper/s available for methods of scaling measured scour depths from physical models?
