Help me to decide what rifle i should get?

i will be going elk hunting in colorado this season and i don't have a rifle to use im turning 14 in september 5th and im getting to get a rifle for my birth day but im looking for a accurate gun with relatively low recoil and right now im leaning towards the weatherby vanguard synthetic youth in the 7mm-08 right now i weigh 95 lbs and i don't want a gun with to much recoil so is this a good gun for hunting elk (im a very accurate shooter not to blow my own horn im just saying) and are there any other contenders like the 6.5x55 Swede some were around there thanks
